this opti any good?

Hi guys was just wondering if anybody has tried this opti or had any info on if it is good or not. i am looking for a new opti for my 1994 camaro z28 and it doesnt matter opti v1 or 2 cause i would just do the conversion for v2 but i am looking for a descent one for under $300 if that is possible.

here is the opti i asked about.

http://www.focuztech.com/xcart/produ...butor-LT1.html

also i hear that ebay opti's are a waste of time and money so i wont bother lookign there.

"thepartsladi" on ebay seems to be a good opti source. Stay away from the Accel.

I've herd of them taking poops at 10kish and some still lasting past 80k+. Go MSD if you don't mind spending a little buck.

another vote for "thepartsladi" on ebay. shipping is quick and price is good.
Here is a link to a non-vented opti...unless you converted to vented. $277 shipped

do a search for that sellers name on here too because there are a few posts about people buying from this source and having good feedback about it

IMHO most of the opti's on the market are good, they usually die from water, oil or a malfunctioning vacuum lines.

Or the damn rotor falls off.

The rotor even falls off the AC Delco units. Loctite it.

Aside from needing to locktite the rotor screws, what's wrong with the Accels?
