The only thing I can suggest is to take it to someone who has installed and used a Gen 7 on a similar setup. When I put the Electromotive TEC3r on my BBC bracket motor, it took about an hour to tune it. Ran pretty good with the default settings. Are you sure there is no mechanical problem? Most tuning problems we encounter at the shop are not tuning problems. Either they are an unrelated mechanical issue or the EFI system was not installed correctly.

Wide open its fine.
Maybe I need to drill some holes in the TB blades? I have the idle set at 1300 all the way across and no temp comensation on anything, have my idle screw manually adjusted as far as it will go and it will on;y idle at 950-1000.

Other than that I got it a little better today, But it still has a pop when you get up on the converter and hit it WOT. Engine builder says its a lean pop. But it does it once then goes on fine. I keep adding fuel in those few bars that its in...but its not much to work with right there.

Maybe i just need to keep tweaking it until I get something? I have never messed with anything that has a camshaft like this........It cams to like 4K before it clears up. I have checked eveything up and down and pretty sure I do not have anything mechanical wrong
