Opinions on Autolite 106's for heads & cam cars

I just put in autolite 106's gapped at .40. I have Heads/cam and 11.1 compression.

It was done in an effort to fix my 1/2+ throttle stumble/miss.. Its a hard miss when i go above 1/2 throttle in any gear. Its like the car just tapped its brakes when i start to get on it.

Anyways it didnt fix the problem.. I was running NGK TR6's but thought they could have been bad after 7 months of sitting around.
Think the autolites will be ok?

The TR6's are one range colder than stock, how did they look (white, black, tan)? The 106's are stock heat range.

NGK's were white... So they were still good so it seemed..
Im guessing my 1/2+ stumble is plugs or tune...

Should probably hook up my fuel guage and watch it while i accelerate too though..

Yeah i didnt know if having 450hp at the fly would be ok for stock heat range plugs...
I know for sure not to use nitrous with them... but not so sure NA since ive heard different opinions

White plugs mean you're running lean, tan is the color for the right combo. The 106's are going to run too hot; especially with 11:1 compression. If you have 450 HP, good chance your fuel injectors aren't keeping up causing you to run lean. Have you upgraded injectors and gotten a dyno tune with a wideband O2 sensor?

Re: Opinions on Autolite 106's for heads & cam cars

30lb SVO injectors...
So maybe the stock fuel pump isnt pumping enough higher up??

Hmmm.... yeah... white too lean... hmmm
Damn it...
Had it on the Wide Band/ Dyno but it was spinning a bearing so we were getting all kinds of weird crap...

SO im getting a mail order tune from Madz28.com / Ion. Just thought i'd try the plugs.. I'll swap back in the NGK's then...

I ran a free scan on it but i dont know how to read it exactly or what to look for.
BLMS aroudn the time it does it are at 128-135 on both sides.. up to 146 at some points.
Map is varies from .97 to .24 ?? TPS says 65 to 0 through all rpms.
MAT volts say 2.31-2.35 in the upper rpms
Timing at 35-38 in the upper rpms
Right and left O2's read 1.021 and .839 when i got on it right before it stumbled.
By upper rpms i mean 3500.
