That's what I have, paid a little over $200 for it.
But it doesn't just read codes, if gives you codes in plain english, which is nice if your on the rode and don't have the manual with you.
More importantly though, you can watch any one of 42 sensors and see what the computer is thinking as the motor is running.
I think it is a great tool, for the $160 that I paid for it at Kragens.

Just make sure you get the real scan tool and not just a code reader. Much better bang for your buck. Even though I have been using Datamaster, I still use my Autoxray some on my car and on other cars in my family. Very handy and decent for the money.
As Rob points out, make sure it is a true "scanner". If you go to the Auto Xray website, link above, they list the EZ Read 2000 as a "code reader", and models from 3000 and higher as "scanners".
They are constantly changing their models designations and lineup. MAKE SURE.
I would also caution you on the "plain English" benefits.... they are usually very "generic" code descriptions that can be very misleading when compared to a true, LT1-specific list.

Sorry.. don't mean to thread jack... but..
Anyone know of a good scan tool and code reader that has a nifty little display I could mount somewhere inside the car? I thought about scan master but it's not a very comprehensive scanner, doesn't take logs, and won't read codes on my '96.
Any thoughts?
I like this auto xray thing but I can't mount the scanner screen anywhere..
