The next time you fill up dump a container of Gumout/ Fuel injector cleaner into your engine. Gave me an extra 50 miles out of my tank. Solved my running rich problems as well. Check for vacuum leaks as well around your engine.

Good luck

Are you serious? Like 50 miles in what kind of driving? i hope its highway? What were you getting before?

I got 12.65 mpg last tank, but that was with 10-20 minute warmups and an average 3-5 mile trip each time, with a little traffic. I didnt even floor it.

I am not that concernedsince it doesnt miss, O2 look okay on scanner, and it got a 22mpg mix of 80% highway 20% city in december on a visit to my sis's house.

Well I was getting about 150-170 miles per tank in City driving. Only probably driving 4 miles one way. Now im getting it into the 200's which sounds pretty bad but ow well. Were the ones with the power...

I drive easy on my car. I dont really get on it that much. Maybe once or twice a week. Other than that i just cruise around at about 1500rpms and normally shift around 2000rpms.

Highway driving is always better. Lots better gas mileage. But for us driving just a few miles day our engines dont warm up that much. So i normally warm my car up on a cold morning for no more than 5 minutes. 10-20 minute warmups are too long. Burning too much gas. The best way to warm up an engine is to let it warm up for a few minutes and then drive it. Energy = Heat.

I do a lot of WOT blasts at lights and get about 15-16 mpg city and got 26 on a highway trip to FL. When you use the fuel system cleaner it says to put in a full tank of gas. I usually use it when the tank is half full or even less to get a good mixture of it. Works like a charm.
