Thumbs down Only getting 13-14mpg

Fuel filter, o2 sensors, plugs & wires have less than 10,000 miles on them. The K&N cone on my CAI could use a cleaning, but that alone would not cause such a crappy mpg.

Any ideas why I am getting such crappy mpg?

Have you ever had your fuel injectors cleaned?

I have no idea why i only get 10mpg. if i knew i'd fix it. new plugs, wires, pcv, fuel filter, coil, different MAF, no codes. only thing i can figure is either opti or clog in the exhaust somewhere as she does also seem to be down on power a little bit. any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't know man... I would check it out though. Mine gets that even with the gears, cam, TC, etc. The little turbo rice cars look better every time I hit the gas pump.

Not all cities are created equal, example State College:

Start car up, idle at stop light. Drive 30 feet, stop, drive block and a half at 15-20 mph, stop, drive 1/2 block, sit and wait in friday football traffic, drive a block, stop, cross atherton, drive 4 blocks at 20 mph, turn right for one block, idle while you pic up your beer, and reverse the above process for the return trip!

That combined with my roomate driving ~1mi daily to work netted me 10-11 mpg. There is nothing more than 1/2 throttle if that in those trips. The car does fine on the highway and in 'normal' city driving, but short slow trips kill mpg.

I just rebuilt my engine... I'm sure the 133k mile injectors would like to be able to keep up with it. I'd like to know how to clean them too.
