I belive your options have been given to you ...and if your tight on money you dont really have to spend a penny. Bypass the core and leave the rear alone.

Heater core is easy to do your self. I live in Florida so we really dont NEED heat here either but i would not do without it for that 2 or 3 times a year that we see 30 or so.

i looked at my heater core today, and i saw there's a lot of hoses, i didnt know which one to bypass....i think i have to read my post over again....btw thanks guys
