OMG new 383 LT1 Not firing..

OK guys I dropped in my new 383 into my 97 SS hard top, I had Daves in Newark build it for me (great looking motor).. It has a LE2 cam and heads, CSR EWP, Comp roller rockers, Griffen radiator,LT's, Billet Ram FW and clutch, big mouth LE intake, 58MM TB, and here is the kicker.. I bought a Billet MSD opti and coil/wires. I put everything in from the bottom of the car, so I assymled(assembled, I fixed this for injuneer the motor on the cradle and put up through the bottom.. Car looks great, everything is clean and done.. I thought... NO SPARK.. car cranks, no fire...I have replaced the coil and ICM with known good one.. no workie.. I pulled brand new MSD Billet opti off to make sure its aligned properly, no workie.. I swapped out Car computer with another 1997 LT1/ 6 speed.. No Workie.... what am I missing?? What could I have missed??? All you can hear is the starter cranking and the motor moving.. no fire.. expect EVERY once and a blue moon.. a small back fire.. ??? I am stumped..HELP

assymbled

Do you have a noid light to see if the injectors are pulsing?

If the injectors aren't pulsing and no spark, the the PCM isn't getting the Opti signal.

also a noid light is basically just a tester to see if the injecters are squirting fuel. if you dont have one just take the 4 bolts that hold the fuel rails to the intake manifold manifold out and pull the fuel rails off the intake.leave the whole assembly together and dont remove the fuels lines. put a piece of cardboard under the injectors and have someone crank it fuel should squirt on the cardboard. this is a lil messy but it will get the job done to see if the injecters are firing also be careful not to break the vaccum line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator. is the computer tuned for this set up you have?

Noid light is a tool that checks to see if you have voltage at the injector.

edit: Got beat to the punch.

plug your old opti into the 4 wire opti harness, rig up a spark tester at the coil turn on the ignition and spin the old opti by hand-do you see a spark at the tester? (this ASSumes the "old opti" was still functional.) yes and for sure-scan for codes.

noid lights are cheap at autozone. just go invest in one.

You might want to pull the Injector fuses first... but by the sounds of it you have the Opti in wrong, I did this twice on my 1995/1996! Everybody say's it's impossible but it's not at all. There's something strange with the angle of the dowl and the opti when your trying to install it that makes it shift about 15 degrees, just enough to miss the intended hole.

I finally used a magic marker and put a dot on the opti seal surface inline where the dowel goes into, and put the cam dowel straight up, VROOM! Fired right up!
