Ok, so I've got this annoying squeak...

that is present whenever the wheels are turning, and its sound is dependant on wheel speed. The only time it goes away is when I apply the brakes. It sounds like a bird chirping, and is seemingly getting louder. I've greased everything on my suspension that can be greased. I recently did the LS1 brake swap, but I pulled the pads out and re-applied anti-squeal in addition to removing the shims which were falling off of the pads. Now all that I've accomplished is that for some reason my brakes squeal really bad when I stop, but that squeak is still there. I wiggled my driveshaft and the u-joints seem to be fine, so I'm really stumped here guys.

You forgot to grease the brake pads

Seriously though. Maybe your calipers aren't retracting and the pads are lightly rubbing the rotors.

Did you grease the sliders? You need shims... did you use the spray or the goo on the back of the pads? Use the goo. Once again you need shims... they dampen the vibrations that cause squeaks.

Well, I'm kinda outta luck as far as the shims goes. A local guy that does brakes and whom I'm friends with specified that the shims weren't really necessary and more often than not cause more noise. They were sliding off of the pads so there wasn't a whole lot I could do. I used the spray stuff, but I do have the goo laying around so maybe I'll try it. I greased the sliders when I did the sway, so those should be ok.

I get that squeeking too when I turn left. Goes away when riding the brakes but is progressively louder when I coast on a left turn. I figure somethings rubbing (duh), not sure what but I'll find out.
