Posting this question in our technical forums instead of the Lounge will probably yield the best results.

Moving to LT1 Tech.

It's the low coolant light turning on. Check your coolant level, and if it's fine, the low coolant sensor is going out on you ..... very common issue with the LT1s.

If it is the coolant light, just unplug it. Its about half way down the radiator on the passenger side. No use changing it. They go out quite often. As long as you have fluid you don't need it. Everyone here just unplugs the thing.

Oh... that light. It's a nuisance than anything else... just forget about it. But do check your coolant.

No prob... coolant is engine coolant, keeps the engine cool. The overfill/fill reservoir is located on the left side near the battery.

antifreeze is a green liquid they add to water to make coolant. just pick some up at any parts store, get the premixed stuff.

I need a 6 speed too... just the tranny though. SON OF A BITCH, I was too excited and just bought an automatic. Well now, at least its a fast auto But 1st, 2nd, and 3rd slips thanks to the new top end.

My roomate is selling a 93 w/headers, gears, decent wheels. Its a 6 speed, black.
