Ok problem while checking my valvtrain geometry

Ok thanks Rich, and others . I just measured the trickflow adj. pushrod out with a digital 8" caliper and got 7.031. I measured it from tip to tip while staying centered on the pushrod. I looked over this page some http://www.compcams.com/Technical/FA...nGeometry2.asp. The theoretical length is pretending that the oil hole would not have a flat spot in it right? So I guess you can say I measured out actual length according to that site.

what changes did you make that require 1/8" shorter pushrods? Just curious.

I had the block 0 decked, and used LE3 heads that are milled some along with a 1074 gasket. (also used ls7 lifters BTW, which might have a different cup depth)
