Is this ok on a new clutch?

My car needs a clutch pretty badly and the only opportunity I have to do it will be a few days before I leave for SC. So I will be driving 500 miles at a pretty constant speed very shortly after putting the clutch in. Is this ok?

In case it matters I will be going with the SLP clutch set with the lightened LT4 PP and SLP disk, throwout bearing. What else do I need? Alignment tool, pilot bushing/bearing? Anyone know the best place to buy this?

Sorry for all the questions, but this kinda sprang up on me. All the help yall can give me is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys.

It's not okay to count that 500 miles as a breakin....no. The breakin is 500 stop and go miles. I would assume it won't hurt to drive it 500 miles just don't get on it at all. When you get there...start the stop and go breakin procedure of 500 miles. The clutch breaks in by engaging and releasing...that's why the stop and go.

So as long as I do the 500 stop and go break in miles when I get to SC I will be fine to drive it there after install?

Anyone know where is the best place to get this clutch?
