Ok i am stupid i know and am probably asking something already posted somewhere but..

What is the difference between the March LT1 High mount kit, and the Outward mount kit.

I have a 1995 Firebird Formula and a stock 350 LT1 automatic with a ram air hood & functional hood kit right now but when it goes (soon) I am gonna get a 383 stroker kit put in it....I don't know if that helps, I just want to get the right kit for my application. I am gonna keep the A/C and all that so i think i need the 20921 high mount kit but i don't know?

Please help, here is a link to the two kits, i don't know which one to get, either High-Mount or Outward.

Thanks!

Why do you think you need a different accessory drive setup for the 383, is it a regular small block. if you're using the LT1 then you couls reuse the original setup.

Those kits are intended for installing an LT1 engine in a car other than a 93-97 F-Body.

high mount= cutting your hood to clearance the alt and ac.

outward mount = cutting your fenders.

Just like stated above those are intended for hot rods or lt1 swapped cars/trucks with lots of room.

Why not save the money and polish the stockers. Powder coat or chrome would look nice too.
