Ok, 16" Chrome Salad Sh. or 17" SS 10-Spokes???

First off I've been reading a lot of posts about 16" stock Salad Shooters over 17" SS wheels at the track and wanted to know your thoughts on what I should do.

I just bought a set of stock 17" SS 10-spokes from a friend that I was going to mount on my daily driver '96 Z28, but I also have the stock 16" chrome Salad Shooters in my garage (running 16" aluminum Salad Shooters for winter). I love the look of the SS wheels on the LT1 Camaro, but also like the blinged out look of the rare chrome Salad Shooters.

I'd rather not lose time at the track, but I've got two viable options in terms of looks. Now what would YOU use for daily driving/weekend track use???

I voted for the 17" SS 10-spokes. Cause they are 17'' SS 10-spokes, and Salad Shooters are STILL Salad Shooters no matter how you look at it. Also Salad Shooters are a pain to clean up compaired to 10-spokes (all those different angles on the Salad Shooters ahhh!). If you like blinged out look of chrome wheels you could always get the 10-spokes chrome dipped if they are not already. Now if you are looking for an all out track use wheel then get some used 15'' wheels and slap some slicks on'em and light'em up!

I would say put some DRs on the chrome salad shooters and run that for daily driving and track use.

I don't really like either wheel too much, but I like the 10-spoke more so that's what I picked. The only reason I could see for losing time is weight, and I doubt there's much weight difference.

I voted 17" SS rims because that's what I wanted on my car. And I am not a big fan of chrome rims on camaro's or salad shooters for that matter.
