Question Oil Questions. Convert to Synthetics?

I'm wondering now with 86k on the clock of my Z, should I convert it to synthetics, swtich it to a high mileage regular oil, or just keep going on with using the regular stuff? Could someone please expand on this for me so I can keep the motor running strong?

I would keep using the regular dino oil and just change it every 3k miles or less. People have had problems with leaks after switching at high mileage.

Personally... I wouldn't go with max life just yet. You could upgrade to a good 10-40w.

I have 84,000 on the clock and I still use 10w-30.I was advised against synthetic with this mileage because it could result in an oil leaks.

I changed to synthetic at 123K and now have 142K.
It didn't 'start any leaks'.
