Oil pump pickup

Well i have 1995 camaro lt1 383 im running the m155 oil pump, my oil pump pickup keeps falling off, about 2 weeks ago it fell off when i was going down the track, i seen the oil pressure drop off and saved the motor, it was just pressed in, lasted about 6mo. I was told it fell out because it wasnt welded, so i had it welded and all was good for about a week and now it fell off again!!! Does anyone make a bolt on for the stock pan??

The metal surface was not cleaned and prepped properly before welding most likely or the welder could not weld. I actually brazed mine together with a torch and coated brass rod.

Once it comes out once the press fit is lost.

If you weld or braze it make sure you do not heat the relief spring and mess up it's pressure.
