oil pump?

did a search, think I came out more confused. I need to replace my oil pump, so the search said the Melling M55 and M155 were okay for stock applications, but there's a question on their casting strength. There's a better Melling pump, select pump or something, is that good, or is there a better value out there?

The melling select pumps with the longer model number are the acceptable ones.

Most other brands are made by melling anyway, and may be the thin casting, so I would just go with their select pumps.

I run M155HV oil pumps in the majority of my LT1 builds with no issues. This pump will accept a stock or aftermarket pickup tube 3/4" inlet.
