I want to buy the stock oil pump with a white spring. Where is the cheapest place to purchase these at? Gmpartsdirect.com wants $57.90 for the pump. Do I need the pump screen also? And I want the larger pickup, how do I know if I have one already (the one that came out of my car) and where do I order those from?

You can buy the stock replacement mellings from summit or jegs for like 20 bucks and it comes with 3 different springs.

The stock pump is better than the melling stock replacement pump isn't it?

Its basicly the same pump, the stock pump from GM has metric bolts and the mellings has standard bolts.

 

So, I dont need to shell out the money for a stocker. I thought the stock pumps were made better.
