Oil Pressure Sensor Plug ?

Ok i have a plug that breaks off the main harness going to the tranny. It is a round plug with one tan colored wire going into it. Its the oil pressure sensor plug. I cant see where it plugs in because its back behind the manifold. I've tried reaching around trying to find where the connector plugs into the actual sensor. I saw a pic on Shoeboxes site but all i could see was the sensor , not the plug. Does anyone have a pic of this plug where it goes? Im tired of reaching around aimlessly trying to figure it out... Or can someone at least give me a good description of where it goes based on feeling/reaching around ? Thanks

The plug in part of the sensor should be pointing towards the drivers side of the car. Feel around for the "tube" of the sensor. Follow it to the end and it should be right there.

See it in this pic? (not the circled part ) It points to the drivers side like 96z said and the the connector is straight out on the end of it.

Just for the he!! of it, what year is your car? The 93's - if that's what your car happens to be - have the pressure sensor in a different location. Just probing... probably a good idea to include basic info like year of your car, trans and any major mods in a "signature" so people can be sure they are giving you the correct info.... .

95 Z Vert, M6 , no major mods ... yet ... I had to go to the chevy dealer and pick up a oil pressure sensor. Guess that explains why i couldnt find where the plug went lol. People probly thought i was retarded not being able to find it lol. Anyways , luckily they had one in stock, so as long as it doesnt rain as bad as the weathermen are callin for here in pittsburgh, im hoping for a start up by weds. If it rains like a beyotch then i guess it gets pushed back to the weekend

Still tho , its all good, so far with the rebuilding of this thing, everything has went really well thanks to the guys on here. It was messy lookin when i first bought the car lol, Wires EVERYWHERE, im 16 , and my dad never restored any kinda newer computer controlled car like this. He was more into 60's 70's muscle cars so ... Suprisingly tho , i was able to do probly 95% of the work myself... Then again 99% of the wiring is idiot plugs that can only go to one place one way ext. ext. ... The Opti whooped my *** the first time around tho ... And i was told the factory oil cooler lines would cost almost as much if not more then the 80$ shipped permacool oil cooler, how retarded is that **** !... Anyone wanna buy the stock cooling unit ? No lines included tho, well unless u want bent ones lol
