Exclamation Oil Pressure Q's

I have
~40-60 (depends on the day) at start up
~20 PSI at idle
~40 at throttle
~60 when I'm a gettin' it

NEVER less than 20 though, and thats only with my stereo cranked, sitting at a stoplight which isn't exactly optimal I know...

Is this right? I saw a post and it kinda scared me. I'm going to be going racing here in a few weeks and the post kinda shook me. I want to know it's at least decent before I go and beat the hell out of it for a day.

Hey, my 94 with 60K was just about your numbers (if not a little lower in summer). I sprayed the **** out of it and swapped cams with no problems at all, that is until boost- i.e. not bearing related Should be fine.....run some of that good german castrol oil, keep it topped off and show the mustangs what nitroused lt1's do!

LOL. There is just something bad @ss about jumping in to a car and forgetting your bottle is back there and you can't dump your bookbag in the back anymore.

People ask what kind of car I drive sometimes and I just have to say "a nitrous injected 94 Z28" Their jaw dropping is the kicker.

True there are badder cars out there than mine and no one knows it better than me, but I still love it.

Yeah mines got right in the 60K miles and I just wanted some reinforcement before going out and beating the living **** out of it at the track.

I got enough saftey devices on the nitrous to make me feel good, but the thread I read was a little unnerving.

i'm in the same dilemma, my car at cold start it's a 60, at warm idle it;s at 30, at cruising at 50, it used to be lower but ever since the car got a full tune up it went up.
