Oil pressure not what is used to be???

Oil pressure not what is used to be???

hey guys, my oil pressure is right at 20 at idle. i thought it used to be closer to 40 while idling.

i might be trippin though, i dont drive it very often. what pressure are you guys seeing???

That seems to be about normal. Mine was actually a little lower than that, and I never had any problems with the oiling system- the bearings actually looked really good when inspected.

Mine is about 18-20psi at idle.

Mines around 15-18 indicated on the dash gauge at really good and hot oil temp at idle (w/ an auto that's just slightly above 600 rpm I guess). Cruising at a little under 2000rpm good and hot it's about 25-30 psi or so, and at WOT it's between 35-40 psi. 139k miles...

Can't say I'm too comfortable w/ these levels myself but it's above minimum specs from what I understand... I'm halfway scared to get a mechanical gauge and double check the actual numbers for fear of getting lower readings, lol.
