i noticed today that my oil pressure gauge would jump slightly in the higher rpms in each gear. it was still showing good pressure, it would just jump slightly. does anyone else have this happen? am i looking at a problem? the car has about 135k with nothing done internally that i am aware of. the car still pulls fine and doesn't do anything unusual while this is happening.

 

small surges at high rpms are typical, most often the sensor although some motors will just do that. if your talking about major pressure changes, start looking for other problems
