Oil Pressure 0 After Stall

I finished putting my new 3000 stall and new gaskets on my y-pipe tonight. I also did an oil change, the same oil I've always used(Mobil 5w-30). When I started it up, it idled fine, ran fine. It did have a check gauges light on, so I scanned it with freescan but nothing came up. My friend told me that's because the check gauges and service engine soon light are two different things. So, I took it out for a spin, after some spirited driving, I noticed I have 0 oil pressure and the check gauges light is shutting on and off. The car ran flawless and it hauled ***. That loose stall is insane. I'm guessing it's the oil pressure sensor or is there a possibility I screwed the oil pump? Thanks guys.

check the sender behind the intake.. might be possible if you were fumbling w/ the tranny tube you might have yanked on a wire or somthing.. Check gauge light' come's on when a gauge bottom's out or goes intot he red such as overheating...

You broke that oil sending unit, on your car I believe its on the back of the intake manifold. I have a 93 so mines is different, but I broke mines too, It read zero oil presure. I have seen a couple cars actually with zero oil presure because of a bad pump or some thing along those lines, the motor will clatter real bad and end up toast if you leave it running.

I unplugged the oil pressure sender behind the intake and it maxes out, so I know it's not the gauge. How can I check the sender besides just buying a new one. Also, now for some reason I don't get a "check gauges" light, but it's still on 0.
