Oil pan gasket replacement

Got a stupid question hopefully someone can help me. I just finished putting the oil pan back in and torquing it down and put the motor back in the mounts. I remembered I didn't put the side spacers back on. Would that be a huge deal or should I make sure they are on there? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd put them back on for uniform clamping of the gasket.

yea I'll go ahead and just do one side at a time so it doesnt fall back down. I have enough stuff I'm doing to this car so it won't be a big deal. Thanks for the response.
