yea my tube isnt bolted in either the ppl that put the lt's on before me never hooked it back up, i dont even know where it bolts to, and i thought it was the cover too b/c i see oil around the breather filter i have but it's in as far as it goes, the little piece of rubber hose that goes to the pcv valve is all melted and distorted im going to try and replace that to see if it would relieve more pressure and keep the dipstick from leaking too much

Check your rear main seal and oil pan gasket. With my long tubes i had very similar symptoms, smoke pouring out from under the car periodically, and oil everywhere on the underbody. Take it to a local shop and ask them to find your leak, they'll put in an additive that flouresces (spelling) when they shine a black light on it (t least that's what the guy i know did)...this will give you a diffinitive answer. I'd put money on the rear main seal though.

Not to seem like a complete jerk but how can you think its the rear main seal when you don't know where it is. The rear main seal is on the back of the engine and earlier you were saying oil is coming from the front and getting on your A/C compressor. I think you just need to take your car to a car wash and power wash the underside and hell i would probably put the gun behind the intake and spray and if your gutsy you can wash the front timing cover and hope the opti doesn't get to soaked. Get your car clean then look for leaks. You are telling us you have oil coming from the front, the back, the top, and the bottom.

thats why i was asking...i duno where it could be comming from...i see oil spots around the bottom of the timing chain cover, but yet its seal up pretty good..then its on the back and botom of the ac compressor, and it runs back towards the starter, tranny pan, and the oil pan!!

It could be the dipstick....when I drove around with a loose dipstick to the muffler shop...it huffed oil out and covered my starter and header primaries with oil.
