Oil Leak Question...
Hi guys I'm new here, I have a 97' Z28 30anniversary (Hugger orange strips, white paint).
I noticed this week that the car has been leaking a very small amount of oil, and I was curious if anybody has ever used this product called "SealLube"? I saw it on Ebay

I was just going to get it checked out to see what seal it is coming from but then I came across this product. I don't know wether to go get it checked out, or just use this sealer. Please advise guys....thanks....

Don't trust any kind of sealer.
The only sealer you should use is a new gasket. Reach behind the passenger side intake manifold, and find the block-to-manifold gasket seal. If it's oily and nasty, there's a good chance it's your intake manifold gasket. It's a common problem, as the EGR tube likes to cook and degradate the gasket seal back there.
Also, wipe the underside of the car clean of oil, and run the motor for a bit. Find where the oil is coming from, and go from there.
Common leaks are: intake manifold gasket, timing chain cover, rear main seal, valve cover, oil level sensor, and oil pressure sending unit (in that order of likelihood).
Hope this helps!

Sealers don't often work and would be something I might only try on a "beater". Better to locate the source of your leak and get it fixed right. You will be way better off in the long run and won't have any nasty additives gunking up your engine.
