Oil leak from low oil sensor
I've found an oil leak that is comming from the bottom of the big nut that is on the drivers side of the oil pan. Its got an electrical connector going into it so I asume it is a low oil level sensor. Anyway it seems to just be seeping out from the very bottom of that nut. Above the but is completely dry. Is that nut just threaded in there and can I tighten it up? Is there a gasket? Thanks.

When the oil level sensor gets old, it can start leaking through the center of the bolt (where the wires connect). Worse than that, the small float inside will break off and be stuck in the oil pan!
