Oil Leak after Opti install

Just like the subject says. After installing the opti, the car leaks a good amount of oil while stoped after driving. It didint leak at all after the install. I'm guessing I tore the seal that the opti sits in on the timing cover. The opti driveshaft o-rings were brand new so I dont think its that. Also, the front main seal is brand new.

TIA

I would clean the timing cover area real well and see where the leak originates from. It may be the waterpump seal, may be the opti seal, crank seal... or even the oil pan gasket...

What seals did you replace? The water pump drive seal is easy to tear on the "step" on the water pump drive shaft. You have to put something with a cone shape on the shaft so the seal won't tear. stretching out the inside of the seal helps too.

The oil is definetly coming from behind the opti. I'm thinking its prob the Opti seal, but I'll check the WP Driveshaft seal as well
