I just changed the oil(instead of the usual fram oil filter i went with the k & n) after about 80 miles, i noticed a leak...it leaked out about 2 quarts...there was oil on the the bottom of the oil pan, flywheel cover, and trans pan...i can not figure out wear the leak is coming from...

Start easy, are you positive the old oil filter gasket was removed before putting the new filter on? Is the filter tight and the drain plug tight?

Spray it all down with brake cleaner and then run it until it leaks(not driving it). You should be able to see where it's coming from then.

Take it off, permanently. You'll thank me later.

Yeah, it seems they cause more problems then good, they have been known to get clogged and lead to some oil pressure issues.
