Question Oil Leak

I was wondering if maybe someone had some suggestions. I was driving out of a parking lot and I bottomed out where there was a dip. Now i have noticed an oil leak that wasn't really there before. I can't seem to see where it is coming from. Do you guys have any ideas what probably would be causing this leak or do you think it is two unrelated things. I'm pretty sure my that it isn't my intake leaking. Thanks for the help in advance.

No way of really knowing where the oil is leaking from without poking around....

u should find out what type of oil it is first as in engine transmission gear oils. most likely engine oil id say. after that my first suggestion is to change your oil and clean up really well. then from there look under ur car as to where its dripping and see if you can find some drops somewehre areoung there. you might have done something to the filter and punctured it or something to make it drip some. i hope you fix it. thats not good.

well, it most likely is your oil pan gasket. Its not too terribly hard to replace, but it is time consuming. When you bottomed out the car and hit the pan, you most likely changed its shape a tiny bit. What did you bottom out on a speed bump or a random object. If you just hit something in the road you could be lucky and have hit your oil filter. Not likely, but best case scenario. Good Luck...
