You don't have to remove the alternator to get that valve cover off.

LOL yeah, I tried fixing it without taking the cover off, and it made it better. I don't feel like taking my altenator off because my serpentine belt is on there pretty damn tight. Maybe autozone gave me a belt a little too small...
