Which oil?

I am not gonna fork out the $ for Mobil 1 for it so I was wondering what oil I should use in my Saturn.

I used Castrol in my Daytona and that seemed fine.

Suggestions?

Valvoline was one of the worst in the last test I reviewed. Havoline scored right up top. Based on that I switched from Valvoline to Havoline a couple years ago.

Things may have changed, but I don't think so. I could be wrong.

For non-synthetic. I'd put in Pennzoil and call it a day.

Valvoline has a pretty weak additive package in it, and doesn't show all that great oil analysis results.

Of all the dinos out there, the best oil analysis results come from Pennzoil, Chevron Supreme and Castrol GTX.

Chevron Supreme is the same as Havoline right?

They used to be the same but now there is some question as to whether or not they are. Their technical specs used to be identical, but now some people have mentioned they are different formulas.

Don't go by what you've "heard", trust the oil analysis results, and Chevron shows some great results. Driveclean hasn't been that consistent.

Ain't that an understatement! There is some crazy stuff floating around out there...

I'd like to see some updated tech on the Havoline/Chevron issue. I'm still buying Havoline religiously

Funny thing - at my local parts store, the Havoline bottles read "New Improved Formula - Increases Gas Mileage" one time... then ever since, they carry the 'old' bottles and I haven't seen anymore of the "Mileage" bottles since then. Strange.....
