oh yeah...she's grumbling now :)

I am low bucking my car as far as I can to see what she'll do before modding. The only things I've actually bought that could be considered mods so far are the CAI and a Jaz racing seat. And actually the CAI was ont he car when I bought it, and I traded a shotgun scope for the seat I did spend $15 on a 160 stat though... everything else I have done to the car is free mods.

I have pulled close to 300lbs out of the car already, and there's room for at least another 50-100.

Swapped my seats for a 3.73 rear end which we installed last night.

Today I made some noise though And spent $35...

I cut the cat out, installed a straight pipe...also cut out the muffler and tail pipes and just extended the I-pipe straight out the back. So the car looks like a v6 with just the one pipe, but it sure don't sound like one It sounds like a cutout would, except its not resonatinf off the ground and bottom of the car...it's way out back. To summarize...it's essentially a straight pipe from the stock y pipe right on out the back. Like I said above... she's grumbling now

The $35 I spent was actually on a dynomax 4" x 16 1/2" bullet... I'll install that tomorrow when UPS brings it. Should take a little edge off and still be pretty mouthy.

I'm wondering how it will do at the track tomorrow night... being she's a lot lighter, a little better breathing, and PCM tuned with a modified hypertech bin file...
Right now I can't get any traction on the street with the GSCs if I nail it. From an idling stop in drive it bakes the tires all the way into 3rd before it even thinks about slowing down to grab, then it has to downshift again....

If you can shoe it out of the hole, I think 13.5@102.
I ran a 13.6@101 with basically the same setup minus the weight reduction and excellent track conditions.
Spinning and then downshifting again sounds just like what mine did when I bury the pedal from a stop.
Useless to flat foot the throttle you will have to drive it.

www.sixtyninecamaro.com/audio/exhaust.wav

(Right-click and save as....) the mic kinda cuts in and out a bit toward then end there but you get the picture

Woohoo! Can you say 13.21 at 104 with a 1.9 60'?

I had to severely punish those GSC tires to get ANY traction... I had to feather off the line and was still fishtailing into 2nd too.

I think it has more in it

not bad for a 132k mile stock lt1 eh?
