Thoughts from Bowling Green...

Well, it was great for the 14 hours I could spend there.

I flew into Detroit from Munich, Germany and blasted on down to Bowling Green, just in time to catch the SSOA folks at the Go-kart track.

They need to handicap go-karts for weight... but that's a different story.

I was at Jerry's at 7:25am ON THE DOT, and NONE OF YOU KNUCKLEHEADS SHOWED UP. Grumble... grumble...

Then over to the museum, checked out a real-deal ZL1 parked outside. Walked around for a few, said goodbye to Scott and some folks and then blew on back to Detroit to get ready for yet another trip out of the country.

Hopefully next year I can spend the whole weekend and have my second-gear syncronized all fixed up so I can really rip her open.

Bro, I hit the road at around 11:00am, so I don't have a clue.

But I'd like to know.

I was there until a little after 4:00PM, and I didn't see a thing that we all haven't already seen. Whatever happened must have gone down after I left. Of course.

It's not what you think it is, so don't worry, you didn't/won't miss anything signifigant to a 5th gen.

I ended up over in the smoking section alone with Stephen Hawking...

His book, that is.

Even asked the gals there if anyone from the 5th gen forum had shown up. They had no idea what I was talking about.

So I had the country fried steak breakfast. The double is too big for even someone of my not inconsiderable abilities to inhale food.

It was great meeting Doug, Jason D and Possum. I really didn't see anyone else, which I couldn't believe since I was there all four days and around the main tent a lot.
