Odd cam question
1994 have sequntial the whole wiring thing will be easy for the injectors I will just push the pins out were they meet at the pcm and swap them(forgot what the connector were called), as for sparky plug wires I will have to make my own.
You dont need a different crank.
That my friend is the attuide gets you no where. If you go around thinkning like that well you will never see above 450 hp (unless you cheat by spray or boost). Yes its some work but not much I rather try and watch it fail then never had tried my idea at all.

Fastbird93
In the 93's Batch Fire system, the injectors on the left bank and right bank are "Batch Fired" I.E. all four at once, each side once per crankshaft revolution.

What are you getting at??? I simply stated that the 93's are Batch Fired each bank once per crankshaft revolution as opposed to the 94+ Sequential Port Injection system. How does making that statement project an "attitude that gets me nowhere??"
Unless you were speaking of my statement of "needing substantiated gains and proven facts as to the reasons before I'd even consider thinking about doing it." All I was stating there was it seems like an exorbitant amount of work for just a few HP. GM built these motors to fire in a certain order.
Let me ask this: Has anyone ever done this to an LT1??? Maybe there's a reason for that.
I dont think anyone has tried it but the always has to be a first( I personnal thin no one has thought of it for the lt1). I dont mind being a test hamster. to be honest it really not that much work maybe 20min max all your doin is swaping wires.
in theory it will work. thats what ford did with the 302's and the 351/302 HO firing orders... not a different crank, just cam, dist blah blah...
what would have to happen is get 2 cams cut, both with the same EXACT specs one with the normal firing order, the other with the revised firing order. Install the cam, rewire the swapped injectors 4/7. And the spark plug wires.... I would be very interested to see a test like this

im pretty sure you do
Thats what this whole entire thread is about me switching to a cam that allows the 4-7 cylinder swap. Most of the post though were question on how I was going to do things. I am most likely goiong to go threw comp cams and get this made there. I said that about the wiring because fastbird93 said it was to much work. But yes a new cam is a must. So let me recap you need a cam ground to spec, change 4-7 spark plugs, and also change swap two injector wires out.
Dont worry people I knows what I am doin!!!!

do you think I should have the crank twisted to match the cam???
