Wrong. It still wouldn't work.

but doesnt batch fire fire every injector once per crankshaft revolution?

It still fires 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.

I thought that sequential injection fired the injectors 18436572, or in 'sequence'.

Batch fire squirts the whole left bank, then the whole right bank.

2nd paragraph, about half way through.

Even if the injectors are all fired at the same time. The opti still will fire 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.

But as stated, he'll swap the 4/7 plug wires also... so it'd work..
and it does look like it'd work with batch fire also, by swapping the injector leads[since 4 is one 'bank' and 7 is the other 'bank'..]
If there are cam grinders doing this already, they should do an LT1 cam for you without too much fuss..
Interesting idea... Worth it? Who knows?

In the 93's Batch Fire system, the injectors on the left bank and right bank are "Batch Fired" I.E. all four at once, each side once per crankshaft revolution.

The opti still fires in the prescribed sequence.

As for the 4-7 swap, that's a TON of work to be doing for just a few HP. I'd need to see substantiated gains and proven facts as to the reasons before even thinking about considering it.

So basically what you're going to do is get a custom ground cam and running 4,7 plugs all over the place. How you'll do it on a 94-97, I don't know. But it may work on a batch fire ignition. Good luck if you try this.

It wouldn't be that difficult to swap 4/7 plug wires with a custom set..
For 94-7 you'd have to swap the 4/7 injector wires also...

One prob I see is that they are on opposite banks, so if the ECM wants to 'richen'[or lean] one bank you would have the injectors swapped to different sides, so it would interfere somewhat with that..
I assume that batch fire FI still does 'corrections'?[based on O2 info/readings?]

Yes batch fire does corrections, I've been battling a fuel issue for a while now and constantly watching it.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the cylinder firing swap also necessitate a new crank for the two cylinders??? Wouldn't you need to swap the compression strokes around too?? Or am I looking to deep into it?

No, don't think so. They should both be at TDC at the same time.
