obdI knock sensor in a obDII car

i swapped the motors from my 95 Z28 to my 97 SS, i didnt even think about it but i kept in the 95 knock sensor in the block. the car has some tuning issues but it still starts, and drives but loads up. will this cause any major problems?

I think the car would run fine, just might be pulling some KR all the time worst case.

Is the car OBD2? Do you have the crank sensor in the timing cover and the ring behind the crank hub for the sensor to pick up on?

You'll need to run the 97 OBDII knock sensor in that engine, if you are running the OBDII PCM. Also, will need to tune out the Crank Position Sensor or swap timing covers and reluctor ring.
