I am getting sick of my OBD2 computer and how picky it seems to be. Right now I am running a programmed OBD2 computer with 02 simms and EGR code blocked. I am getting no SES light and was wondering if the car can possibly pass the new IL inspections. Havent received any notices yet but from what I hear they now just plug into the OBD2 aldl port and make sure everything is running correctly by doing that. Since I am getting no SES will the car pass or can they tell that a code has been blocked? also, I really wanna do an OBD1 conversion how will this effect a inspection? any help is appreciated.
