cv breather catch can

My girlfriend just bought a srt-4 neon and I was looking around one forum for that car and they recomended installing a catch can on the cv breather to filter the oil from the air coming into the engine. It sounded like a really good I dea and I was wondering if something like that has been done by anyone on here and what the results where. Like I said I think it would be good for any cars engine to keep that junk out of there. The main reason I wonder is because of the ca smog police I cant just vent the air to atmosphere if I ever want to pass smog. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and advice.

You can use a:
Deutsch Oil Seperater Breather BF412 [or Purolator part B23165 or Fram BA 6592]
in the place of that plastic elbow in the passenger side valve cover [where that 1/2" rubber hose goes up to the throttle body]
It fits right in place of the plain elbow and it works fine..
