O2 sensor voltage??

I made my own O2 extensions and I made sure I had the right wires together, but since then, I pulled the O2 off and the wires came undone. My question is, there are 4 wires that go to the O2 and two are the same color, does it matter if these get crossed up? I just noticed that for most of the time driving, my passenger O2 sensor is "dead". Sometimes it picks up voltage, but for the most part, it sits at .002 V. Anyone know about this? If not, I'll just switch the wires and try again.

Re: O2 sensor voltage??

I was looking at the diagram and it doesn't seem like it would matter if the two brown wires were mixed. Would it? It's still going to complete the circuit for the O2 heater. It shouldn't have any affect on the O2 readings itself. Is this correct? I appreciate the help Shoebox.

I don't think it would matter.
