O2 sensor install
I was reading this page and i wanted to see if there is a correct way to install the sensors on our cars... i am refering to this "When replacing the sensor, be sure the slits are faced in the proper direction or exhaust flow into the sensor will be changed." see link for article...
when i installed mine i just cranked them down and now i am wondering if this has something to do with the high volt readings that i am coming up with...
can someone enlightewn me on the install of our sensors...

The link in your message is dead for my browser.
This is the first I've heard of such a thing. I put it in line with indexing spark plugs, which I wanted to do when I changed heads but found it impossible to get the plugs at anywhere near the right torque setting. I'm confident that millions of replacement sensors have been installed without being indexed and are working correctly.
