i've been caught by the dreaded 1-2 shift problem with my 3200 stall and obdi converted 97 ws6. i was thinking about trying my obdii computer as its just sitting around.

the problem is i need an extension between the wire harness and the post cat o2 sensor. when i bought my y-pipe, it came with them, but i never used them because i converted to obdi during the install. anyways, i've hunted it down and its too short. i'm going to extent it, but when i took off the black covering, there is a diode or something linking 2 wires (purple and tan, pins A and B), do i need this? i thought that just the wires needed to be extened.
