Vented Vs. Nonvented Opti

Like the title says......what are the advantages and disadvantages and how hard is it to convert them over? Which is better?

Do a search...lots of info on this topic. Bottom line is your cam will need to be drilled out to add a pin to drive the vented opti!

Unless your doing a cam swap, I wouldnt even mess with it. I cant see one system being any more reliable than the other. My stock non vented lasted 10 years, my buddies has lasted 10 years 80K miles with out any problems. Then other peoples dont last very long, its a crap shot, I have seen both system types fail. I have been around Lt1s for 4 years now and in that 4 years I cant see a vented system being any more reliable, they all seem to be prone to problems.
