Re: o2 censer

Your o2 SENSOR might need changed, although it is hard to determine what exactly you did to try and fix it.

At full throttle your car doesn't use the o2 sensors for how much fuel to use, just the PE tables in the tune. Therefore if it is running crappy when cruising likely there is an issue with either the wiring, or the sensor itself, or possibly both.

Add a signature that has basic car info to help with responses as well.

Re: o2 censer

What was the specific numerical code you had?

An OBD-I scanner reports a numerical code, just like an OBD-II scanner. The only difference is an OBD-I code only has two digits. Many scanners will give you the numeric code, and then provide a generic definition of that code. Do not use what the scanner tells you. Use a list that is specifically for the LT1 engine, like the one on Shoebox's site:

http://shbox.com/1/Dtcs.htm

The code tells you which bank of the engine the code is for. It tells you whether the code is for the O2 sensing element, or the electric heating element/circuit in/to the sensor. It tells you that the code may be the result of something other than the sensor itself. Could be the result of running lean, running rich, etc.

I'd like to help, but the description you give is impossible to decipher with no punctuation, incorrect spelling, etc.

In the original post you said you had a code, and in the second post you say that it didn't? I don't typically help much, but, not to insult, this is very hard to understand. Some detailed instruction of your process would be helpful. Also, can you use some punctuation, and spell check? It makes it easier on everyone.
