not sure if this the right place to post this?

Hey guy im new to use a innovate lm-1 wideband AFR meter. i have coule of question? I have been haveing trouble knowing whats right or wrong. I know that 14.7 to 1 is the perfect mix when NOT under load. What im unsure about is what is a good ratio to run at wide open throttle, full load?

My set up is a 11 to 1 CR forged 355 with a cc305 cam and some mild porting i have a madz28 tune now. i still use stock injectorS (witch is not good because my duty cycle is up around 90-108% :eek2: )

Hear are some on the reading im getting:

driving around town and idleing it stays between 14.5 to 15.5 sometime it will go up for second to 16.2 or so.

going through the gears not hard just shifting at 5000 rpm it will stay around 12.5 to 13.6. At this time i will come close to 3/4 throttle no further.

NOw stopping and really going throught the gear it will dimp to 11.8 real quick then go right up to 12.8 and will hold until i get into 3rd and 4th then it will go up to 13.0 to 13.5 and floats around there.

I just woundring what you guys think about these readings??? I know my duty cycle will is really bad i planning on a injector up grade!!! Thanxs for the reaply.

Grant

Cruising around, I think my car feels best at 14.0:1. At WOT, I try to keep my car around 12.8:1. If your DC is really hitting 108%, I would not go WOT until you could upgrade the injectors. It's also useless to fine tune the a/f if you plan on changing injectors anytime soon. Are you still using the factory O2's?

By factory O2's, I meant running a closed loop tune. That was miswording on my part. You won't be able to change your cruising a/f if that is the case. You'll only be able to adjust the WOT fuel correction.

Sure can't. Not in closed loop anyway. You can get your fuel trims right round 128, but the PCM will use the O2's to try and keep the a/f at 14.7:1.
