Is it normal to be able to wiggle the pistons in the bores?

No... just read the boards a few years ago about everyone elses' woes.

yeah I have heard a lot of about chevy trucks in the past with piston slap and lifter sticking issues. Then I started hearing about LSx motors with piston slap, but it just all went away once warmed up.

aren't stock LT1 piston hyperutectic?(or how ever its spelled) I didn't think those would shrink down when they were cold or anything. someone correct me if im wrong though

I haven't had any problems with the 6.0 liter in my truck and haven't realy heard much bad. What have you heard? or know about? Jason
