Noise coming from driver side engine???
I have recently replaced my water pump with a electric pump. I dont know if this has anything to with the noise. Anyways, I only hear it way I am driving. But only when I give it gas. I dont hear it when it is in park with throttle being applied. I dont have headers it is stock except for Borla cat back, and SLP air intake. My car has 40,000 miles on it. Any ideas, answers, possiblities, questions that would help.
Thanks in advance, Brian.
Thanks in advance, Brian.
check for an air intake leak (elbow, intake itself) make sure its called sealed. ESPEICALY on the bottom of the intake elbow where it meets the throttle body, it tends to fold if you dont put it on right and it causes a fairly large intake leak. Do you feel any power loss, or high idle at all?
Im pretty sure that I checked that but i could check again. As far as power loss, I havent noticed a difference. And it idles normal. Ihave never heard this before, but we recently put a crate GM motor in my Dads pickup and it is making the same noise?? Im usually pretty good at guessing what noises are but Im stumped!
