No Start condition Fuel pump???

I have a no start i'm thinking it might be the fuel pump. It'll kick over when i spray starting fluid in it but once thats gone it doesn't kick over. when i turn the key on i don't hear the fuel pump power up. anyone have any idea?

Re: No Start condition Fuel pump???

There's a single wire and conector near the computer that when connected to 12v should start the pump, if that doesn't work, well...hope your tank aint full.

In OBDI it's the #5 fuse 15amp. In OBDII it's the #3 fuse also 15 amp. Not sure about a "Y" body though.

Re: No Start condition Fuel pump???

Its on the 94 Firebird, I bought a new relay and when I installed it, I noticed there is a blue wire running from that #5 fuse down to the relay wiring. The previous owner must have tried to bypass that relay or something. There is a short in the wiring and when I wiggle the wires, the pump will come on. Thanks
