No Speedo, No Reverse Lock Out & No Cruse?????

Okay my I just got my car back together here is the list of what I did to my 1997 Z28 M6.

Poly Engine and Trans Mounts
Intake fix
94-95 Mac Headers
Mac Cat-back with offroad pipe.
O2 simulators
Opti spark
Accel Coil and wires
CSI Electric water pump.
SPEC clutch and Flywheel (forgot to list)

Now the car runs really good but I don't have a speedo or the reverse lockout, nor is the cruse control working. I did tap the relay off of the cruse/ac fuse under the hood so when I get home I am going to start by pulling that wire and moving it but I was wondering if anybody had any other ideas. The reason I am asking is because I have a hard time believing that just taping off the "ignition power on" signal to throw the relay to give my water pump power will mess up the lockout and speedo. Please understand that it only acting as a source to switch the relay not power the water pump itself.

What I have done.
I checked the reverse lockout solenoid by putting power to it and it did click so it was working.

I also did check the speedo by turning the wheels and the voltage did vary so that is working.

I also checked all the fuses, at least in the two fuse boxes that I know of (under hood, and driver’s panel)

I drove it around a bit last night and after awhile I got the "service engine soon" light to come on but I was not able to check the codes but they are most likely from the EGR because of the lack of back pressure.

Okay that is all I have let me know if anybody can help!

Thanks

TTT for ya. If anyone has any insight please share. I have the exact same problem and have yet to figure it out. It happened after my clutch was installed. If you get it figured out post what you did because I'm desperate for a solution. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to have somebody figure it out for me when its most likely something simple. Good luck.

I cant remeber what the connecters look like, but they are close to each other. You may have them crossed if that is possiable.

They are similar connectors but different enough they will not go into the wrong plug also I check the wires they are in the right spots. I am starting to think that it is the speed sensor because I would think that the if the speed sensor is not working then neither would the reverse lock out nor the cruse control. Can anyone confirm this scenario?

Pinched a wire probably, all of those are on the same circuit, My buddy accidently pulled that wire out of the PCM when doing a swap and all of the above you mentioned didnt work. Check that wire to the PCM, not for sure what one, and check all the wiring by the tranny!

Check for 5v on the yellow wire to the VSS. Also check for 5v between the yellow and the purple wires.

Don't know why they took down the sticky about TTT abuse, but you might need to read it.

Okay I think that I have waited long enough to post about this again. Just giving you a hard time!

Anyways it is figured out, I had already tested the output like you suggested Shoe but that is were the problem was. The wire had pulled out of the connector and when I would unplug it to test it it would make contact again but when pluged in it would not be touching. Fixed the connector fixed the problem, so anybody else having the same problems pull the connector apart check the wires carefully and good luck.

Thanks to for everyone's help!
