NO SPARK after heads and cam install....

I just finishedinstalling my heads and cam pacckage, and upgraded my opti to the vented 95 style. I went to go start it and there is no spark, it cranks but no spark. Honestly I don't even think the injectors are pulsing either. The car drove into the shop but now it won't start. I checked the wiring harness to make sure everything is connected and everything seems fine. Anybody have any suggestions? Is it possible that the opti could be in wrong, but then again I thought it only goes in one way....

by the way I do have an MSD digital 6 hooked up but that was on the car before the swap, and it ran fine with the MSD.

Did you change the electrical harness for the opti?

I did the same thing when I installed my cam ..I was lucky and was barely able to plug it in without taking the waterpump back off...

Is the harness different from a 94 style opti? I thought it plugged right in.

Yes, there's a little bump on the harness connector that makes them not fit up correctly.

It may plug in on the opti end, but the connector for the vented opti is way longer and reaches down into the opti. The non-vented harness connector is too short to even make a connection. A new harness is listed in the parts needed to do a vented opti conversion.

A lower cost opti harness is available from Casper. Look at the difference in that connector on the opti end compared to yours.
